Diamond Series

The Diamond Series uses pieced 60 and 45 degree diamond shapes as the ground for these contemporary artworks. The textiles used are the leftover remnants from the framing of other artworks and commission pieces. She intricately hand stitches a design on each piece using a one-inch needle. This stitching creates interesting light and shadow play on each artwork. Several more pieces are in the diamond piecing stage.
