Contaminated Water Series
This is a series of abstract contemporary textile art started in 2010 exploring the subject of contaminated water and environmental art. Textile artist Jean M. Judd is continuing the development of this series over the next several years and it will be available for gallery exhibitions, provided the individual pieces are still available for exhibition.
"Throughout the series, I am using my own hand dyed fabrics mostly in whole cloth format. Some of the pieces will also incorporate rust pigment applications."
Each piece is designed to be easily hung in either a vertical or horizontal orientation as well as integrated into a larger collage artwork for multi-story display. The full visual effect of these pieces comes through when viewed in person when displayed in a gallery setting.
