Scribble Art Quilt Series

The Scribble series represents the artwork I made as a child using crayons and paper. I would close my eyes and use a black crayon to scribble an abstract meandering design on paper. I would then make each random shape a different color with the same color never being repeated next to itself.

I used hand made bias tape to create the "scribble" design and the material ground replaces the color crayons. These pieces are heavily hand stitched with a one inch needle. Eventually many more pieces will be created and added to this gallery.

Additional pieces are in progress for this series.
